Featured Pet: Max, at City of Bloomington Animal Shelter!
Max is a playful and sweet tabby cat, just about a year old. When she arrived at the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter, she had suffered an injury to her hind end that resulted in her tail being amputated. Max has a lingering sensitivity near the injury as well as some urinary incontinence.
At home, Max would need help with bladder expression. It’s really easy to do, she tolerates it, and this helps avoid lots of messes! Shelter staff would be happy to teach you how to do this for her. Shelter staff also noted that Max is extremely playful and will chase any and all toys! She’s a big talker and loves to interact.
