Interchange – Rafael Reuveny

Play

Host Keith Vogelsang speaks with Rafael Reuveny, a professor in the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.  Professor Reuveny’s research crosses many disciplines in his effort to understand the sociological consequences of environmental degradation, economic decisions, and whether the collapse of complex human societies is inevitable. As an Israeli citizen and retired officer of the Israeli Defense Forces, Rafael Reuveny also has a unique perspective on the roots of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and uses his training in the social sciences to take an empirical look at the problem of war and peace.
