Host Chad Carrothers speaks with local business owner Ed Schwartzman and Clinical Assistant Professor Dr. Cara C. Lewis about suicide awareness and prevention. Schwartzman will be a part of a panel discussion this weekend during the “Celebrate Life: Suicide Prevention Film and Theatre Festival” in Bloomington and is the father of Ben Schwartzman, who committed suicide at the age of 19. Dr. Cara C. Lewis is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Indiana University, where she runs a mental health clinic and teaches doctoral students about the nature of suicide.
