In the first of a four-part series of candidate forums produced by WFHB and CATS, host Darryl Neher meets the candidates for county recorder, county commissioner district 1, and county clerk. First we hear from recorder candidates Jim Fielder (R) and Mike Szakaly (D), then county commissioner Patrick Stoffers (D) and challenger Michael Hill (R), and finally candidates for county clerk Linda Robbins (D) and Candi Haley (R). Compared to other local election forums our series is much more free-form and dialogue-based, giving the candidates a chance to go “beyond the soundbite” and giving you a chance to really get to know these candidates for local office.
