Play

Indiana was one of five states hit by deadly storms and tornadoes on March 2, 2012. An EF-4 and and EF-3 tornado have been confirmed, damaging the towns of Pekin, Henryville, and Marysville Indiana. EF-2 and EF-3 tornadoes have also been identified in Posey and Ripley counties. Three days after the storms, four shelters have been set up, but most people are staying with family and friends as residents continue to sort through personal belongings and assess the wreckage. Indiana Department of Homeland Security public information officer Debbie Fletcher speaks about the tornado damage she has seen, and what comes next, in this WFHB feature report.
