Welcome to the ACC 21st Anniversary Edition of Hearabouts: Asian American Midwest Radio! Hearabouts is produced by WFHB and Indiana University’s Asian Culture Center. We ask critical questions about identity, culture, community and shared assumptions.

On today’s episode, we have guest speakers Dr. Arun Singh and his son, Michael Singh, IU alum. Dr. Singh shares his journey and the obstacles he had to overcome to become one of the top cardiac surgeons in the U.S.. and Michael Singh talks about his childhood in the U.S. and the importance of public service.

Also in this episode, we feature songs, “Baybee” and “The Bus Song” by Asian American artist, Jay Som.
