A fight at a Halloween party over the past weekend left one dead and one seriously injured, in Bloomington.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, three people were shot at a party at Eagle Pointe Golf Resort, on Lake Monroe, one of them fatally.
In a statement over Facebook, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department wrote “The case has become increasingly difficult as very few of the witnesses stayed to give statements and those that did, could not provide many details. We do believe that the shooter came to Monroe Co to attend the party and is not a local resident.”
The deceased man was a 21 year-old from Indianapolis.
The Sheriff’s department stated the second victim is in ‘massively’ critical condition, and a third victim has since been released from hospital.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Department states that no one at Eagle Pointe should feel in any additional danger. The perpetrator has not been identified.
