Today is the last day to register to vote in Indiana, ahead of November’s midterm elections; City of Bloomington Communications Director Yael Ksander made the announcement the city will change Columbus Day to Indigenous People’s Day; Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, business leaders, and local officials met with Amazon representatives in Indianapolis this morning; Businesses in Bloomington are reporting dissatisfaction with local officials; A large university-oriented housing project is getting a third city review, despite lacking support from the city’s planning department.
