FEATURE
The Second season of J&B on the Rox saw producers Joe Nickell and Bart Everson interview Noam Chomsky, load fruit with alcohol, and light up a joint on the Monroe County Courthouse Square – an act that landed them in hot water with statewide conservative organizations, and garnered national media attention. The Bloomington- based J&B on the Rox was the first television series on the internet, and its grungy production quality was a backlash against sleek and over-produced mainstream television programs of the time, including My So-Called Life, and the first seasons of Friends and E.R. J&B sit down with WFHB News Director Wes Martin, to talk about Rox Season two, life since 1994, and tonight’s special at the Comedy Attic in Downtown Bloomington.
