The Indiana legislature is considering two bills that would revise payday lending rules in the state; The Monroe County Plan Commission is changing a zoning ordinance to make proposed trash facilities a conditional use, instead of a permitted use; After resigning from the Indiana Department of Child Services, Mary Beth Bonaventura will be joining the office of Attorney General Curtis Hill; Demonstrators gathered at the Indianapolis Statehouse, protesting the state’s lack of hate crime legislation.
