The Indiana Legislature’s Short Session is set to end on March 15th and this afternoon the legislature struck down a number of bills; Indiana Senate Republicans initiate a last-minute proposal to allow 10 percent of public school districts’ teachers to be unlicensed; Indiana House Democrats say they’re worried about state of the Department of Child Services; The city of Bloomington’s Transportation Department will offer free bus rides this coming Saturday, in honor of Rosa Parks; Indiana Green Transfer and Recycling officials have decided not to pursue a controversial waste transfer station proposed for western Monroe County.
