Global warming is already reducing crop yields in Indiana.  The U.S. Department of Labor is attempting to get more women into traditionally male-dominated trades.  Ball State University will no longer require applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores.  The Indiana Department of Natural Resources released new Hunting and Trapping regulations yesterday.  US Senators from Indiana Joe Donnelly and Todd Young announced that the Senate passed a resolution last night honoring the crew of the USS Indianapolis.  The Monroe County Youth Services Bureau announced today the dates for their third annual Monroe County Childhood Conditions Summit.

FEATURE: Governor Eric Holcomb has pledged his support for the enactment of bias crime legislation in 2019. But local activist John Clower has been lobbying for better hate crime laws in the state for year. And he says supporting law enforcement is key. WFHB Assistant News Director Sarah Vaughan brings us that story in today’s feature report.
