People protesting at the Monroe County Courthouse were given an eviction notice to vacate by 10 p.m. Protesters remained on the courthouse lawn until after midnight.
The protest was represented by Patrick Ford, media spokesperson for Enough is Enough. He said protesters were given an eviction notice to leave the courthouse square by 10 p.m. Some protesters stayed until after midnight. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department didn’t arrive until the early hours of Wednesday morning.
