Civic Conversations – Tribalism

Play

Welcome to the April edition of Civic Conversations – a podcast collaboration between WFHB and the League of Women Voters.

Our episode today revolves around tribalism. Our guest, Marjorie Hershey, professor of political science at Indiana University, walks through the issue of tribalism with our host, Jim Allison.

According to her university bio, Professor Hershey’s research and teaching interests focus on political parties, campaigns, and elections.

She has published three works, including a widely-used textbook, Party Politics in America, which is now in its 18th edition.

Civic Conversations airs on the third Thursday of each month on the WFHB Local News.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots, citizen-led organization that has fought since 1920 to improve our government and engage all citizens in the decisions that impact their lives.
