On Labor Day weekend, Rev. Forrest Gilmore drove to Madison, Indiana.
Gilmore and Bloomington residents spent their Saturday with hundreds of counter-protesters, including members of the American Indian Movement, at Ku Klux Klan counter-protests during a cookout. Gilmore said the KKK “kookout” was attended by a little over a dozen members and supporters, who were separated from counter-protesters by chain-link fences and dozens of police officers.
