Bloomington Police Responding to Potentially Armed Domestic Violence Case

The Bloomington Police Department is responding to a domestic violence call on S. High St.

Captain Steve Kellams confirmed the Critical Incident Response Team, which operates BPD’s recently-acquired armored vehicle, has been deployed at the scene. It is not currently known whether the suspect is alone at the residence.

Monroe County Community School Corporation spokesperson Andrew Clampitt sent parents and guardians an email this afternoon, which states that Bloomington High School South and Templeton Elementary began safety procedures, after being notified of the situation by BPD.
