Play
Tonight we have Greg Chaffin from Bloomington High School North to talk about some exciting news for himself and the school. Chaffin wrote and was awarded the 2020 Lilly Endowment Inc. Teacher Creativity Fellowship Grant program for his project titled “From Surviving to Thriving: Walking the Historical Pathway of Pride for LGBTQ Rights and Equality.” a grant that will help create a curriculum for LGBTQ+ topics. The mission of the project is to enhance knowledge of supportive cultural activities and develop pride by experiencing gay-affirming communities and events in predominantly Scandinavian countries. Tune in to hear more details about the project from Chaffin!
