BloomingOUT – Remembering LGBTQ Victims of 9/11 – September 13th, 2018

Play

This past Tuesday marked 17 years since 9/11. It is hard to believe it has been so many years. Tonight in this episode, we are talking about the impact that 9/11 has made on all of our lives.

This is the 25th year of WFHB. We started in 1993 as a nonprofit, independent community radio station. Since then we’ve grown to include 28 news and public affairs programs, including this one, BloomingOUT. We at BloomingOut volunteer to bring you the only independent LGBTQ+ news program in the state. We love our community and we’re dedicated to providing a voice for LGBTQ+ Hoosiers, but we can’t do it without your support.

Please give us a call at (812) 323-1200 and help us keep broadcasting the only independent LGBTQ+ news in the state. You can also donate safely and securely online at WFHB.org. On our landing page you’ll see a big red donate button. Please take a minute and help support your community, your program like BloominOut, and your community radio station, nonprofit WFHB. All donations are tax deductible.”

Music this week is from Lori McKenna’s album The Tree.
