We have Jeffrey M. Roth Vice President and Chief Development Officer from The Damien Center Jeff to dsicuss the history of HIV/AIDS. We also have Kim Naeseth, a Housing Case Manager with Community Health IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Kim is the housing case manager at Positive Link. She works with multiple groups of people, some living with HIV, who have barriers to housing. To find more information about the Damien Center they can go to the website www.damien.org. Bloomington’s Breast Cancer Awareness Walk is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 with registration starting at 8:30 am. The walk will take place in front of the Bloomington City Hall in the Showers Plaza. The event starts with a Survivors Recognition at 9:00 am followed by a 1 mile walk. Well behaved pets are welcome!
This is a free event, donations only, and t-shirts are free for the first 1,000 registrants at the event.

Description: Join MHC for our 5th Annual Food Day! We’ll kick off the celebration by making pies together, then we’ll roll out the projector and watch several short films about food. Stick around for discussion, or just to enjoy a warm glass of apple cider and another slice of pie.
This event is free and open to the public, community members of all ages welcome!
