Big Talk Music, Part 1

Play

Big Talk guests have included a stellar lineup of local musicians, some of whom have made national and international names for themselves. For a holiday season change of pace, we’re presenting songs, sung and played, by many of our previous musical guests on the program. Today’s edition features the Indianapolis Children’s Choir (founded by Henry Leck) singing “Kalanta of the New Year”; the Postmodern Jazz Quartet (Jeff Isaac with Pat Harbison, Jonathon Elmer, Dave Bruker, and Chris Parker) playing “Paper Man”; Nick Toth and the Stone Age Institute Band with “Koobi Fora”; Tom Roznowski singing “Heaven of Pies”; Busman’s Holiday with “Beach Song”; and Amanda Biggs singing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Part 2 featuring Travis Puntarelli, Jason Fickel, Ginger Curry, Kacie Swierk, Krista Detor, and more tracks from Busman’s Holiday and the Indianapolis Children’s Choir will air in several weeks.

Host Michael Glab goes one-on-one with Bloomington’s most fascinating people every Thursday at 5:30pm.
