WFHB Bloomington Community Radio
In mid-March, 2020, as the initial wave of coronavirus became an imminent threat, WFHB closed the doors of the main broadcast studio to preempt the spread of the virus. For the next two weeks, a small cluster of WFHB staff, board members and DJs will be broadcasting from the studios of WFHB. We have prepared procedures and guidelines to reinforce the safety of these individuals and all participants have tested negative for COVID-19. They are quarantining so that they may ask for your help to support WFHB with a financial contribution. As we try to navigate through the new normals, please support us with a donation so that we may continue bringing your community to your radio dial.
UPDATE: I am pleased to announce that we have reached our goal of $45,000 for our Fall Fund Drive! Thank you to all of our listeners and supporters for getting us through these strange and difficult times. Your investment into community radio secures four FM frequencies in South Central Indiana. Non-commercial frequencies devoted to local culture and information. That’s a big deal, especially in a for-profit media world. We look forward to further exploration of the remote broadcasting technologies we’ve adopted along this journey.
