Busman’s Holiday on Saturday’s Child November 12th

Play

On November 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM, WFHB’s Saturday’s Child welcomes Busman’s Holiday. Lewison and Addison Rogers, along with a band of merry music makers, will feature tunes from their brand-new release, “Good Songs”.

In the words of music reviewer Stephen Deusner…

A band of brothers hailing from Bloomington, Indiana, Busman’s Holiday are devoted to exploring the boundless possibilities of the human voice. On their inventive, giddily experimental third album, the aptly titled Good Songs, Lewis Rogers and Addison Rogers sculpt their lines rather than simply sing them, deploying an arsenal of techniques and tricks to deliver lyrics about loneliness and connection and joy and fulfillment.

As stated by the brothers Rogers, themselves, “This album had a real life to it before we got here. Like it went through school, and college, and maybe even some grad school. [It] started in Montreal and ended up in Bloomington, ricocheting to Brooklyn on the way.”

Bounce on over to the Monroe County History Center Auditorium in Bloomington and join us live, from 11:00 AM to noon, or tune in to WFHB FM or WFHB.org for Busman’s Holiday on Saturday’s Child!
