The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People presents an annual NAACP President’s Award. Winners are selected by the NAACP president in recognition of special achievement and distinguished public service. This year’s winner for the President’s Award goes to Bloomington Historian Elizabeth Mitchell!

Ticket prices will increase to $65 for both youth and adults beginning Monday, September 9th – Saturday, September 14th. Online and box office sales will end at 4pm on Friday September 13th. After that tickets can be purchased at the door of Shreve Hall- Ivy Tech Community College (200 Daniels Way, Bloomington, IN 47404) at 6pm. Cash and Check will be accepted at the door of the event.
