Come enjoy a relaxed afternoon of music, poetry and storytelling at Juniper Art Gallery! Bill and Glenda Breeden are beloved members of the southern Indiana community of writers, poets, artists, musicians, critical thinkers and activists. They will offer an entertaining mix of wit, wisdom, and spiritual inspiration through poetry, stories and song. Bill and Glenda are long-time Spencer folk, with their home nestled in the woods. They are true Owen County gems…We hope you’ll stop by Juniper and enjoy!

Two Thursdays, March 21 & 28

Juniper’s Community Room has abundant natural light, creating a perfect environment for drawing! Professional Spencer artist/instructor, Jenny Stankiewicz (Indianapolis Art Center and Area 10 Agency on Aging’s Endwright Center) will work with all skill levels to improve your understanding of light and form and your basic drawing abilities. Work in your preferred medium such as pencil, pastel, charcoal, conte crayon, etc. You can work in color or basic pencil/charcoal (or try your hand at both!). Reserve your space now!

DATES: Two Thursday afternoons, March 21 & 28
TIME: 2:00 – 4:00 pm
MUST PREREGISTER by Sunday, March 17
NOTE: Need four enrolled for the class to happen, so sign up with a friend!

· Drawing Paper (18×24 or larger preferred)
(we’ll have some newsprint on hand for experimenting)

· Your favorite drawing utensils or a variety to try!

· Eraser

· A drawing board, or table easel (if you have one)

· Clip for holding paper to board (if you have one)

Wine & Cheese: The IU LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, and students (21+) will gather to enjoy an evening of socializing, networking, and of course, wine and cheese — Thursday March 21, 2019 4-7 PM IMU University Club (900 E. 7th St., Room 150)

Each attendee will be given one complimentary glass of wine; additional glasses may be purchased at a cash bar. (Non-alcoholic beverages are available at no charge.) Please bring a photo ID that shows your age.
