Green Drinks presents Dr. Ben Kravitz, “Geoengineering: Can we do it? Should we do it?”

Green Drinks Bloomington is a lively, informal social networking event for people from all
walks of life who are interested in making a greener world. The organization gathers monthly to share
libations and dialogue, explore ideas and make new friends and business connections.

This month’s gathering will hear from Dr. Ben Kravitz, Assistant Professor in the
Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Indiana University, for a
presentation entitled “Geoengineering: Can we do it? Should we do it?”. As people get
more desperate about climate change, they may turn to technologies to deliberately cool the
planet. Dr. Kravitz will explore some of the benefits and risks in this talk.
