City on the River Exhibition Opening Community Celebration

Honor Indiana’s Indigenous past, present, and future through a meaningful and collaborative exhibition coming soon to the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Developed in partnership with Native American descendants of Angel Mounds, “City on the River” tells the stories of Indiana’s Indigenous peoples through archaeology, personal narratives, contemporary art, and an immersive virtual reality experience.
