Construction. Disruption.

Play

Last year and this year there are major construction projects happening on the Indiana University Bloomington campus. The $52 million Wright Quad renovation finished before classes started, just in time for major updates happening now to IU’s School of Public Health and the Bill Garrett Fieldhouse. This is part of a larger project, the Wells Quad and Public Health Renovation, which includes Sycamore Hall, Morrison Hall and the Jacobs School of Music’s Music Addition. Meanwhile the interior of the Geology building is getting upgrades, disrupting classes taught by Cody Kirkpatrick, a Senior Lecturer in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. We hear from Kirkpatrick and student Amelia Fahl, along with excerpts from written responses by IU administrators.
