Pett brings his and provocative humor with a 45 minute set to the Orbit Room. Bloomington Indiana native, Joel Pett is a Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist, and a winner of an Emmy for a TV Commentary.
Monika Herzig is now living and teaching jazz studies in Vienna, Austria. She will be visiting Bloomington for the holidays, and we’re thrilled that she will provide special music for Juniper’s Third Thursday Monthly Music Night!
She and her guitarist-husband, Peter Kienle, will perform jazzy holiday tunes on our Janiece Jaffe Legacy Stage before she returns to Europe!

An unsung 1980s holiday slayride from the makers of PIECES, this unhinged slasher follows a psychopath as they slaughter anyone who’s unlucky enough to be dressed like Santa Claus during the holiday season. The twisted maniac dishes out stabbings, gunshots, a castration (!), and even burns the face of a poor Saint Nick while he’s roasting chestnuts. A fascinating and endlessly entertaining sleazefest, DON’T OPEN TILL CHRISTMAS is infamous for its shocking gore scenes and gratuitous synth-jam performance from horror icon Caroline Munro (DRACULA A.D. 1972, MANIAC). Newly restored from the original 35mm camera negative!

She performs regularly at Helium Comedy Club and The White Rabbit Cabaret where she is a cast member with An Evening With The Authors*. You’ve seen her at Cincinnati Brew Ha-Ha, Yuckfest, and Limestone Comedy Festival, and on the Vice TV Series ‘Hunters.’ Gwen is also contributing writer for AWF Magazine. The BWFM is the oldest winter market in Indiana as it enters its 20th year serving the community of Bloomington.
The Bloomington Winter Farmers’ Market has a diversity of vendors and products including fresh produce, local meat and poultry, dairy products, eggs, maple syrup, honey products, breads, baked goods, jams and sauces, prepared foods, locally roasted coffee, cut flowers, seeds and plants, artisanal crafts and many other items. You can find everything you need for nourishing winter meals along with local crafts, seasonal gifts and shareable treats!
Dancing Babies is offered every 3rd Saturday of the month from September to December 2025.
You’re invited to join facilitator Celina Jaffe (& baby Otis) for a joyful movement experience designed for caregivers and their babies (ages 3 months to 1 year). Each 45-minute class starts with a gentle warm-up and allows for breaks at any time. We will share in a welcoming space for connection, expression, and shared rhythm!
