The Greene County Humane Society is partnering with the BISSELL Pet Foundation to offer a reduced-fee adoption amount for animals at their shelter in Linton, now through July 19th. Reduce-fee adoptions will also be available at The Cat’s Closet, 223 South Pete Ellis Dr, Suites 1 & 2, in Bloomington, who source their cats from this Greene County facility. The race for the Pup Cup, at $10,000 to win, is one of the highest paying IMCA Race Saver events in the country. Raced in memory of the great Kevin Huntley. Support series for this event include the Ford Performance Driving School Sprints, and the Tex-a-Con Cut Stone Super Stocks.

Who will be crowned Bloomington’s Trivia Champion? The winning team from each night will automatically qualify for the Championship Tournament on December 6. Cumulative point leaders also have a chance to qualify. At the end of the series, the top teams will compete to be Bloomington’s Trivia Champions!
Prizes will be awarded each night to the top three teams. Register a team of up to six by the registration deadline.

Presented by Jacobs Academy. The Jacobs Academy Schola Cantorum is an intensive week-long laboratory for musicians passionate about performing a cappella and accompanied sacred choral music.
Market goers can expect to find a wide assortment of goods from the farm and field, including fruits and vegetables, eggs, meats and cheeses, honey, seasonal flowers, and annual and perennial plants. Food and beverage artisans provide a tasteful variety of satisfying breads, drinks, pastries, and savory dishes. This weekly gathering provides individuals the opportunity to connect with their community in meaningful ways while supporting small farmers and businesses.
Youth Day at the Market this Weekend!!
Young farmers, artists, growers and entrepreneurs 6-17 years old will get their own booth spaces on the Fernandez Plaza and some nestled along the periphery of BCFM vendors during this special day for youth at the Market. Youth keep all their profits as they experience a day of running their own stands. Their Market runs from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.
This week, Roger Kerr, Chief of the Bloomington Fire Department, will greet the public at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market from 10 AM to 12 PM.
The Bedford Farmers Market consists of local farmers, artisans and bakers; all items for sale at the market are handmade/homegrown in Lawrence County and within 75 miles from courthouse. Products available at the Bedford Farmers Market include fresh produce, plants, farm fresh eggs, local beef, chicken and pork, baked goods, jams, jellies, sweet bread, pies, cinnamon rolls, jewelry, tie-dye, pottery, leather goods, baby items, candles, walking sticks, baskets, crochet dolls/animals and a variety of other art/craft items.

Located in our overflow parking lot on the West side of the funeral home, vendors will be on hand with fresh produce, honey, homemade baked goods, handmade crafts and jewelry, fundraisers, food trucks and non-for profit community organizations.

Come on out to a working farm and see Highland cattle, goats, sheep, donkeys and more. Learn about regenerative livestock farming on the tour at 10am, Enjoy coffee/tea and a sweet treat as you pet, brush, and feed treats to goats at 11am, take a leisurely stroll with the donkeys, brush them, feed them treats, take lots of pictures at noon.

Guidelines:
· All books must be in good condition and printed in the last 10 years.
· Limit 5 books to swap per participant
· The swap will occur outside under tents. Books from the book swap should not enter the bookstore, to avoid mishaps and miscommunications.
· You will be given a ticket for every book you bring to swap. Those tickets must be used to “purchase” the books you’d like to take home.
