These events are open to the public, with no registration or experience required (though we appreciate advance notice for groups of 5+ people). We simply ask that you dress appropriately to do outdoor work, and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. Snacks and drinks will be provided as well as any other tools you may need to help out!
We hope you can join us to get outside and enjoy nature, make new friends, and learn some sustainable, organic orcharding practices. All are welcome!

A second showing begins at 7:00 this evening.
Join us on Thursday evenings beginning 6/26 and ending 10/30 to play disc golf.
We’ll start out with a short introduction session and play the 9-hole disc golf course at Arlington Heights Elementary School. If you have never played, no worries, you can practice throwing discs before playing the course.
Bottled water and discs will be provided but it’s good to bring your own as well.
Are you are fan of Studio Ghibli movies? Join other fans of this prolific animation studio as we watch a different movie every month! Snacks and crafts will be provided.

Its that magical time of year for eating 5 hotdogs as fast as you can.
We had so much fun last year for the Holiday Hotdog Eating Contest we are doing it again and opening the playing field.
10 Contestants Compete to see who can eat 5 Hotdogs the Fastest. First one done or with the most after 5 Minutes wins champion
The event is Free to Attend but it costs to compete.

The fireworks, known as the “Greatest Small Town Fireworks in America”, are launched from behind the high school football field and are best viewed from the hill to the west. Fireworks begin at dusk(9pm-10pm)
Summer’s hottest night is glowing.
Roll through a haze of synth-pop, nu-disco, and smooth electro-funk. Think late-night city lights, pink skies, and that warm breeze feeling.
Parade starts and ends on West 10th Street, between North Walnut St. and North College Ave. The route travels down College Ave. to Kirkwood Ave., East to Walnut St. and then North (up) on Walnut St. to 10th St.
Hey Lemonheads, come celebrate The Fourth of July with us! Live music from 1pm until 9pm, vendors, drawings, and lots of fun! Then Saturday July 5th ww will have a DJ rocking the beats all day! Decorate your boat in the best Fourth of July decor and winner gets some cool swag!!

FIREWORKS AT DUSK
Mark your calendars! The annual Lake Lemon Riddle Point Park fireworks show will take place on Friday July 4th at dusk. As always, you can watch the show from the park, your home, and even on the water.Entrance for the show will begin at 3pm. Come early to secure a spot as we will run out of parking! We will have food trucks on site for your enjoyment!
We’re running a CAR WASH 5 – 7 in the alley!
Show at 9pm with MARY MOTHER OF GOD and OLIVER CLOSEOFF.
Dance party at 11 (always, duh)

All money earned via raffle tix and at our car wash (5 -7) will be donated to GENDER NEXUS and the Gender Diverse and Queer Clinic at IU.
Come out and enjoy the Bedford Community Band’s 4th of July Concert. They will play a selection of your favorite patriotic tunes.

Celebrate Independence Day with us on Friday, July 4, at 6:00 PM. This evening will be filled with fun for the whole family with local food trucks, cornhole, bounce houses, yard games, music, and fireworks.
Please note: entry to the event is free, but individuals are welcome to purchase food with their own money from the food truck vendors.

Market goers can expect to find a wide assortment of goods from the farm and field, including fruits and vegetables, eggs, meats and cheeses, honey, seasonal flowers, and annual and perennial plants. Food and beverage artisans provide a tasteful variety of satisfying breads, drinks, pastries, and savory dishes. This weekly gathering provides individuals the opportunity to connect with their community in meaningful ways while supporting small farmers and businesses.
Youth Day at the Market this Weekend!!
Young farmers, artists, growers and entrepreneurs 6-17 years old will get their own booth spaces on the Fernandez Plaza and some nestled along the periphery of BCFM vendors during this special day for youth at the Market. Youth keep all their profits as they experience a day of running their own stands. Their Market runs from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.
This week, Roger Kerr, Chief of the Bloomington Fire Department, will greet the public at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market from 10 AM to 12 PM.
The Bedford Farmers Market consists of local farmers, artisans and bakers; all items for sale at the market are handmade/homegrown in Lawrence County and within 75 miles from courthouse. Products available at the Bedford Farmers Market include fresh produce, plants, farm fresh eggs, local beef, chicken and pork, baked goods, jams, jellies, sweet bread, pies, cinnamon rolls, jewelry, tie-dye, pottery, leather goods, baby items, candles, walking sticks, baskets, crochet dolls/animals and a variety of other art/craft items.

Join us for a day of fresh produce, handmade goods, and local flavors at the Owen County Farmers’ Market! Whether you’re looking for the freshest vegetables, beautiful flowers, local honey, unique crafts, or plant starts, there’s something for everyone.
Located in our overflow parking lot on the West side of the funeral home, vendors will be on hand with fresh produce, honey, homemade baked goods, handmade crafts and jewelry, fundraisers, food trucks and non-for profit community organizations.
Many vendors accept Venmo, Paypal, Apple and Android Pay.
Public restrooms are available at our market.
