Local artist, Zoe Dean, provides watercolor painting instruction every Friday excepting the first Friday of the month. All supplies are provided. All skill levels are welcome—including beginners! Requires a minimum of 3 registrants or class will be canceled.

Teams of 4 to 6 people compete in recess-style games, relays, and obstacle courses while listening to throwback tunes. Games are a mix of active and inactive so everyone can contribute to the team. The full activity list and rules will be released the week of Feb. 17.

The acclaimed and ever popular Japanese taiko drum group, Kodo, is bringing its engaging rhythm to IU Auditorium this season! The group will perform its newest work, Warabe, as part of its 2025 North American Tour showcasing the ensemble’s continued exploration of new and old traditions from Sado Island.

The taiko is a traditional Japanese drum with limitless rhythmic possibilities and Kodo’s mission is to explore those possibilities, and in the process forge new directions for a vibrant living artform. In Japanese, the word “Kodo” holds a double meaning. It can be translated as “heartbeat,” the primal source of all rhythm, but it can also mean “drum” and “child.” This reflects Kodo’s desire to play the drums with the simple heart of a child. In Warabe, Kodo looks to its classic repertoire and aesthetics from the ensemble’s early days. This production blends simple forms of Taiko expression that celebrate the unique sound, resonance, and physicality synonymous with Kodo—forever children of the drum at heart.

The Bloomington Winter Farmers’ Market is the oldest winter market in Indiana as it enters its 21st year serving the community of Bloomington.

Join the IU Student Foundation at the Buskirk Chumley Theater for IU Sing A Cappella 2025 on Saturday February 22nd! IU Sing A Cappella will showcase talented student groups performing for the opportunity to sing at the 2025 Little 500 races. IU Sing is a campus musical competition that, for more than 80 years, has gathered student groups to create and perform original productions. With its rich history of hosting student events, IUSF is proud to revive this time-honored IU tradition for a new generation.

Funds raised from IU Sing will benefit the 2025 Students Helping Students campaign.
