Each comedian is asked to do no more than five minutes of completely original material. While we do not care about foul language in your set, we do not allow racist, homophobic, transphobic or rape/female bashing jokes. If you have to ask if it’s racist, homophobic, transphobic or a rape joke, it probably is.
Comedians that wish to participate are asked to e-mail [email protected]. Newcomers and any participants who are not paid professionals will be required to bring audience members to see them. This is non-negotiable. So if you plan on signing up, be sure to invite as many friends as you can. Good luck!

Artist Kip Fulbeck has exhibited and performed in over 20 countries. His work has been featured on CNN, MTV, The TODAY Show, The New York Times, Voice of America, and numerous NPR programs.
He is the author of six books including Part Asian, 100% Hapa; Mixed: Portraits of Multiracial Kids; and hapa.me – 15 Years of The Hapa Project, and the exhibition artist of Perseverance: Japanese Tattoo Tradition in a Modern World.
Fulbeck currently teaches as a Distinguished Professor of Art at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has also been named as a Cultural Pioneer at Harvard University. In addition to his art and publications, Fulbeck has directed twelve films (including Banana Split; Some Questions for 28 Kisses; Sex, Love, & Kung Fu; and Lilo & Me).
Fulbeck’s works have guided audiences through captivating and moving stories of personal identity, acceptance, and belonging.

Uninterested in this sudden new parental figure, Georgie is stubbornly resistant to his attempts to connect to his daughter. As they adjust to their new circumstances, Georgie and Jason find that they both still have a lot of growing up to do.

Civil rights activist and independent archivist Marion Stokes videotaped 33 years of the 24-hour news cycle on 70,000 VHS tapes. In an effort to protect the truth, Stokes created an archive of U.S. history through media, starting with the Iranian Hostage Crisis and ending with Sandy Hook. In some cases, Stokes’s recordings are the only ones in existence as networks disposed of their own copies and the collection is now being digitized by the Internet Archive for future use.

Monroe County Democrats club will be having a sit down luncheon with US Senate Candidate, Marc Carmichael. A portion of the proceeds from the meals will be donated by DeAnegelo’s to New Hope for Families. Mingle and order lunch from 11:30am, and the meeting starts at noon. Mr. Carmichael will speak for 20 minutes and then there will be a question and answer period from the floor.
