Who needs Hulu when you can tune in to a live concert? Local musician and performer Kenan Rainwater is bringing virtual entertainment to you through Rainwater Studios. Not only will you get to enjoy his talent, but he’ll also be broadcasting performances by some of his pals. Now that’s music to our ears…and a little weekday fun to look forward to!
We have been applying ourselves to the mission of recording and distributing local music from our home base at Rainwater Studios. This music can be found here on Facebook, on SoundCloud and on our YouTube channel. Originally the studio was a rehearsal space for Kenan Rainwater’s band RAINWATER. After connecting to the world with fiber optic internet, we began sharing live performances. Now we work with dozens of performers from Central Indiana while honing our craft and striving to bring you the best our region has to offer.
Each week, we are offering a chance to engage with IU Cinema in our virtual screening room, presenting a mix of programs to include new releases, conversations with filmmaker friends, curated student film programs, and much more. The majority of these will be completely free to experience and have interactive Q&A sessions to offer some form of communal film experience during these trying and isolating times.
Sign up for IU Cinema’s weekly email, follow us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), explore our A Place For Film blog, or visit this page for weekly event updates.

This past Friday, Kris came up with a way to play a virtual version of The Price is Right with some extra challenges. We had lots of fun guessing how much food and household items cost. The extra challenges included guessing how much the price of certain paper products and disinfectants. Our intern Jody won on Friday so there were no prizes distributed, but that may change when/if a members wins!
We are keeping these social hours going and would love to see some more of you join Endwright staff and others for games, trivia, and creative challenges.
We have a special craft challenge planned for this Friday. To participate, please gather these household items: Q-tips, 2 toilet paper rolls, scotch tape, plastic lids (any size), plastic spoon, fork, or knife, shoe string, straws, coffee filters, paper plates, and a pop can
Even if you don’t have these items or feel up to the challenge, join us anyway. We guarantee you’ll get a few laughs out of your systems!
To join, follow this link at 12 pm on Fridays: https://zoom.us/j/95633909324

Join us for Dive Deeper live at the Wonder Under the Waves Aquarium. This week we will learn about the dangers of oil spills in the ocean and do an experiment to see how difficult it is to remove oil once it’s in the water. To try this experiment at home you’ll need: a container 3/4 filled with water, vegetable oil, soap, a spoon, cotton balls, particulate material (kitty litter will work), dish soap, and your choice of experimental item that you believe will be good at cleaning up oil from the water (ex: paper towels, feathers, or pipe cleaners) All welcome. Activities designed for all ages.

Due to COVID-19, the Southern Indiana 6K for Water will be a virtual event this year. When you register, you will receive your 6K t-shirt, race bib and medal in the mail prior to May 16th. On race day, you can choose to walk or run through your neighborhood or another course of your choosing. Use hashtag #southernindiana6k for your photos so we can all celebrate changing lives together (while at the same time social distancing ourselves)!
On Saturday, May 16th, thousands of people from around the globe will walk or run 6K to bring life-changing clean water to communities in need. 6 Kilometers is the average distance people in the developing world walk for water – water that is often contaminated with life-threatening diseases.
