Through a unique and riveting mix of theatre, circus, dance, music, and acrobatics will tell the stories of the generation who forged the world we live in today.
Imagine your grandparents and what they lived through when they were your age. Our elders lived in a simpler era, when time moved at a less rapid pace. This time in history inspired poetry, imagination, passion, and staggering virtuosity.
Are these stories written in our DNA? How will the past guide our evolution in the future.
With Reversible, be prepared for the best in contemporary circus—moments of pure grace yielding to rushes of adrenaline—as a cast of multi-talented performers travel through time and space. Be part of a vibrant journey that will give you goose bumps: peek through the key hole at a Reversible world, where everyday life is turned upside down into new spectacular universes filled with beauty, emotion, and hope.
Challenge your cranium and join us for Taproom Trivia! Hosted by the marvelous Katie Cox, sign-ups start at 7:30pm and the game starts at 8:15pm!
Bringing all your country classics & rock’n’roll favorites performed by our rag tag Honky Tonk Tuesday house band.
Featuring a revolving cast of Bloomington music greats.
We’re Kero Kero Bonito, a band from London, England. We met on an internet forum in 2013; singer Sarah was born in Nagoya to a Japanese mother and British father, before moving to Kenilworth, UK at the age of 13, while producers Gus and Jamie have been friends since school.
We shared our pop universe on Intro Bonito (mixtape, 2014), Bonito Generation (album, 2016) and singles like “Flamingo” and “Trampoline”. In 2017 we returned to the suburbs that made us and started rehearsing with guitar, bass and drums.
We introduced our new style with TOTEP in February 2018, and our second album Time ‘n’ Place is coming soon. Signposted by the songs “Only Acting” (pop-punk noise) and “Time Today” (chipper Casiotone melancholy), Time ‘n’ Place is our response to indie-rock history.
The Time ‘n’ Place tour is our first using a 5-piece live band. Playing selections from across our discography arranged for guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals, it will be our most raucous yet.

By Hand will be presenting a new show for the upcoming Gallery Walk on Friday, April 5th.
Title: “Allegories of Our World”
Artist: Bekki Canine
Description: Bekki Canine has been entranced by the rich atmospheres and colors of traditional oil paintings since first walking through the galleries of the Museum of the Art Institute of Chicago as a teenager. She has also long been drawn to objects with an intrinsic story and history: fabric from discarded clothing, old maps and book pages, forgotten photographs. In her work she combines these two interests by incorporating collaged elements into oil paintings. Through these paintings Bekki encourages thoughtful reflection about humans’ interaction with each other and the environment.
Opening Reception: Friday, April 5th, 5-8 PM

- Not rated, 2016, 2K DCP, Action/Adventure, Drama, Directed by Lav Diaz
Shot in black-and-white and set during the Philippine Revolution of 1896 against Spain, the ballad of Jocelynang Baliwag becomes the hymn of the insurgents. While searching for the body of Andres Bonifacio, Father of the Revolution, we embark on an epic journey through history, literature, and mythology. Lav Diaz is a master of interconnected narratives filled with abstractions. “It is perilous to argue about historical details. It is more perilous to correct any distortions made on historical events. But, it is most perilous of all to turn your back on the truth behind these events” (Diaz). Presented by Cardinal Stage:
A classic comes to Cardinal Stage with this touching family drama from one of America’s most celebrated playwrights. Amanda Wingfield dreams of a better life for herself and her two grown children, but with her shy daughter Laura struggling and her restless son Tom scheming to leave town, reality threatens to shatter her illusions and their family.
Presented by the IU Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance.
Two farm women are named as witches by a man they have spurned. Written by acclaimed Obie Award-winning playwright Caryl Churchill, this provocative play examines non-conformity, and gender power struggles through this 17th Century lens. Against the backdrop of the witchcraft trials in England, Vinegar Tom draws parallels between witch hysteria and the fear of female sexuality, showing it to be the lethal source of many of society’s problems, both past and present.
