Those who are supporting a loved one with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia may attend this group. Attendees will share ideas, support, and resources. Group discussions are confidential.

Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives.
The public is invited to the League of Women Voters’ final Legislative Update for 2018 on Saturday, March 3, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Bloomington City Council Chambers in the Showers Building, 410 North Morton Street. State legislators representing Monroe County will discuss developments in the Indiana General Assembly and will respond to audience questions and concerns.
The Legislative Update is free and open to the public. It will be taped by Cable Access Television Services through the Monroe County Public Library and will be replayed by CATS throughout the current legislative session and on request.
