“Frontier Folk Nebraska believes in the continuing relevance of a classic‐era kind of alt‐rock that flirts with occasional messiness in order to let its organically electric sound come together without too much art‐think or conceptualism. Faith is put in the music’s energy as the right conduit to showcase interesting songwriting… Neither from Nebraska nor a folk group, Frontier Folk Nebraska is instead a Cincinnati band that sounds like the Replacements attacking power pop with their thrashing guitar‐and‐drum energy kept in check by their love for melody and appealing song structure.”

Needmore Coffee Roasters is a woman-owned small-batch coffee roastery in Indiana dedicated to roasting organic, ethically sourced coffee from the finest small-scale farmers around the world.

Relationship Coffee – Direct Trade: Our current direct trade coffees are from El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Our collaborative relationships with these farmers ensure environmental, economical, and social sustainability, resulting in the production of the highest quality coffee.

Fair Trade CertifiedTM: Your everyday purchases, like your daily cup of coffee, can help farmers get better prices to help them keep their kids in school and protect fragile ecosystems.

Helping Others: Always trying to help the community, our coffee grounds are donated to local gardening groups and farmers. We also make an annual donation to help fund the Comedor Children’s Lunch Program in Posoltega, Nicaragua, which is organized and run by  Bloomington & Posoltega Sister Cities.

Jul 20 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

A four piece Americana band from Louisville, KY. They’ve released two EPs, “Extra Better” in 2013, and then “Light of Day” in 2014.Through relentless touring, they’ve become mainstays of the Midwest Americana scene. In September of 2015, they set ten highway-tested, fine-tuned songs loose in the confines of LA LA Land Studios. The result is “Midwest Heart/Southern Blues”. The new album is a gritty, upbeat collection of songs, full of characters who were developed while staring over the dash of a beat up Ford van cruising through towns in the South and Midwest, whose better days are behind them.

Friday night is “date night” this summer at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. A series of summer film screenings will feature films from three decades focused on everyone’s favorite tricky subject: love.

Sabrina – Friday, July 21st 7:30 pm

Sabrina; 1954; Run time: 1 hour and 53 minutes; Rating: unrated

Two brothers on Long Island vie for the attention of Sabrina, the daughter of the wealthy family’s chauffeur, played by Audrey Hepburn. Both brothers have fallen under Sabrina’s spell, but only one will win her affection. Will it be the playboy, played by William Holden, or the serious brother, played by Humphrey Bogart?

The New York Times called Sabrina “the most delightful comedy-romance in years,” and the same can be said today. This film was nominated for six Academy Awards, winning one for Best Costume Design. It also won the Golden Globe for Best Screenplay.
