Please join Community Justice and Mediation Center (CJAM) for Krista Detor’s Holiday Benefit Show, Made in Indiana. The show takes place on December 16 th at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 2120 N. Fee Lane. Joining Krista is author Scott Russell Sanders, folk artist Tim Grimm, and author Phil Gulley. Together, they will weave winter and holiday stories and songs set in historical and fictional locations in Indiana. It's a lovely cup of holiday cheer and includes the annual Holiday Market featuring locally-made artisans and their wares. During the Holiday Soapmaking and Soap Sculpting Workshop, kids and adults learn how soap is made and are involved with making a batch of soap with the soapsmiths. After the soapmaking process is finished, workshop attendees will create their own soaps, including adding the essential oils and exfoliants of their choice. Then, they will shape soap sculptures/mini soaps to take home or give as holiday gifts.

Sydney Piercy is a 15 year old singer songwriter from Bloomington Indiana. She picked up a guitar at age 12 and never looked back. She started playing her favorite songs, and having always enjoyed both writing and music, she soon began writing her own songs. She got her start on stage at church and local festivals, and hasn’t stopped performing since.
