Betsy Stirratt and her crew at the Indiana University Grunwald Gallery of Art have put together teams of research scientists and artists who, together, have created works of art based on scientific principles and actual laboratory work. The exhibit is called Re-Imaging Science. Stirratt is the director of the Grunwald and is one of the participating artists. She talks about the challenges of scientists and artists, who often think in vastly different ways, combining their two disciplines to create a third thing. Betsy Stirratt joins Michael Glab on this week’s edition of Big Talk.
