Slavery in the United States did not end with the passage of the 13th Amendment in 1865. Today it’s called “Human Trafficking” and it’s going on — and growing — all over the world, including every state in our country. Slaves today aren’t being held in chains; they live everywhere, sometimes with their families. People can be enslaved by jobs, or over the internet. A shocking number are children, and that number is getting larger every year. Here’s a warning about this evil — because the only hope today’s slaves can have is that someone like you will recognize their plight and report it.
