ACLU Finds Discrimination in CIH and A&D Programs

Last Friday, the ACLU of Indiana filed a lawsuit against the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration challenging the way in which the agency operates two of its Medicaid waiver programs, the Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver and the Aged and Disabled Waiver. $145 Million in Settlement Comes to Indiana

This week, the Indiana Attorney General’s Office is mailing out $26.3 million dollars in settlement checks to qualifying Hoosiers. The checks will go to mortgage borrowers who lost their homes to foreclosure between January 1st, 2008 and December 31st, 2011.
