Newly-Discovered Vonnegut Short Stories To Be Published

Five previously unpublished Kurt Vonnegut short stories are being released, after their discovery at the Indiana University Lilly Library. Vonnegut, Indiana’s most famous modern writer, died in November, 2007. Dan Wakefield, co-editor of the Complete Stories and one of Vonnegut’s long-time friends, spoke with WFHB News Director Wes Martin about the author.

Indiana Officials Suggest Protections After Equifax Data Breach

Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill is advising residents to take steps to protect themselves in the wake of the Equifax data breach. The breach is estimated to affect 143 million Americans nationwide, including an estimated 3.8 million Hoosiers. Monroe County Gives Grants To 10 Local Drug Treatment Organizations

Monroe County Commissioners are distributing more than $55,000 in grants to ten local organizations for their work in drug treatment, prevention, and support services. The grants come through the Monroe County CARES Board, a coordinating council for the Governor’s Commission for a Drug Free Indiana.
