City of Bloomington Rolls Out New Recycling and Waste Disposal Program

The City of Bloomington rolled out its new recycling and waste disposal program this morning. City residents will no longer have to separate out their recycling, or buy garbage tags for garbage bags. Housing Choice Voucher Program Begins Tomorrow

The Bloomington Housing Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher program will open for applications tomorrow. According to Housing Choice Voucher Program Manager Daniel Harmon, in order for the city’s Housing Authority to provide voucher assistance, a family may not have income which exceeds  50 percent of the area’s median income. Indiana Again Considering Sunday Alcohol Sales

The Indiana Association of Beverage Retailers (IABR) has reaffirmed support for legislation that would permit the carry-out sale of alcohol on Sundays. The support comes weeks before the Indiana General Assembly’s Alcohol Code Revision Commission is scheduled to convene for its fourth meeting of the 2017 session.
