City of Bloomington to Demolish the Griffy Lake Water Treatment Plant

The Griffy Water Treatment Plant was built in 1925 to provide water to the city of Bloomington. The plant collected water from Griffy Lake and was treated to become safe drinking water for the community. A Bloomington Hospital Patient tested positive for coronavirus, according to an email sent from I.U. Health to the Indiana State Health Department.
