Amid Push for Hate Crimes Law, Bias Crimes Law Falls Short

On Monday, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced his support for hate crimes legislation in 2019. Indiana is one of five states that currently do not have hate crimes legislation.

However, Indiana does have bias crimes legislation. Bloomington activist John Clower says current bias crime legislation is not currently being enforced. WFHB Assistant News Director Sarah Vaughan reports.
