Our local chapter of the National Organization for Women formed right after the first Trump election. Chapter president TammyJo Eckhart went to that first meeting and says there were hundreds of people there, riled up and ready to do something. Since then Monroe County NOW has organized local action around intersectional feminism, fighting for constitutional equality, reproductive rights, freedom from violence, and social justice for all women.
