Activate! Courtney Payne-Taylor, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington

Play

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington serve 650 local kids every weekday. Courtney Payne-Taylor got her start at the Boys & Girls Club teaching kids how to skateboard, and now she’s the People & Culture Director, which means she oversees staffing, volunteers, and service-learning programs. In 2025 more than a thousand volunteers helped club kids learn just about anything – maybe YOU could join in the fun!

Activate! is a partnership between WFHB and the City of Bloomington Volunteer Network, working together to build a strong, healthy and engaged community. You can learn more about volunteer opportunities in the WFHB listening area at bloomingtonvolunteernetwork.org or by emailing [email protected].
