An anti-abortion group has filed charges against an Indiana University Bloomington student.

The Indiana University Student, Thomas Metcalf, spray-painted over and threw away anti-abortion signs protesters from the anti-abortion group Created Equal had set up along 10th street on IU’s campus last week.

The anti-abortion protesters were wearing go-pro cameras, and have widely publicized the incident. Indiana University Communications Director Chuck Carney said the student was detained by IUPD during the incident.

The anti-abortion organization Created Equal has called for “civility from the left,” after filing charges against the Indiana University student.
