On September 14, sociologist Dr. Alondra Nelson spoke about racial politics in DNA testing. Dr. Nelson is a Columbia University professor of sociology and the president of the Social Science Research Council. She was also Indiana University’s Institute for Advanced Study Fall 2017 Branigin Lecturer, which was jointly sponsored by the Council for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society and Themester. Her talk was part of IU’s Themester program.
