Recently, an IU senior established an online petition about Peoples Park stating that people experiencing homelessness have, “decided to make this park their home, starting fights, doing drugs, setting one another’s belongs on fire, and causing raucous 24/7.” This comes on the heels of city-wide discussion about homelessness and its effects in the downtown area. Voices in the Street stopped by Peoples Park to speak to visitors there about what they think about Peoples Park and how it could be improved.
