J460 – Clinton Lake: Living Without Insurance

Play

The cost of health care have been on the rise for many years, with high costs keeping many Americans from receiving the care they need. Clinton Lake reports on the struggles faced by members of the Bloomington community without health insurance and on the problems that have helped prices soar.

WFHB is proud to partner with the Indiana University School of Journalism for Community Journalism J460, a class taught in part here at WFHB where students learn to produce radio features on issues relevant to the local community. During the fall semester of 2010, students in J460 pursued stories in underreported areas like healthcare, education, criminal justice, and homelessness.
